Installation

Installing Flex-Lag® Full Ceramic Lagging is quick, safe, and efficient — no need to remove the pulley from the conveyor system.

Determine Lagging Requirement: Use the Flexco Lagging Calculator to accurately calculate the number of strips or rolls required for your specific pulley dimensions.
Prepare Pulley Surface: Clean and roughen the pulley face to ensure maximum bonding strength.
Apply Adhesive: Use Flex-Lag® Cold Vulcanizing Adhesive to secure the lagging in place.
Mount Lagging: Position the ceramic strips evenly over the pulley surface and press firmly for uniform adhesion.
Cure & Inspect: Allow the adhesive to cure before returning the conveyor to operation.
